Connect

Bethel has a group waiting for your talent, interest and participation.

MUSICAL?

Do you play guitar or drums?  Or enjoy singing Contemporary Christian music or traditional Christian hymns?  Contact our Worship Team Leader!

CRAFTY?

Our Bethel Crafters meet throughout most of the year (they do take a short break in the roughest part of winter).  They work on seasonal crafts that are sold during our Spring Plant Sale, Fall Chicken Dinner and Holiday Craft Boutique held the first weekend in December.  Proceeds from these sales go to support special projects at Bethel.   If you would like to start crafting with them, please contact the church office.

QUILTER?

Bethel Quilters meet on Tuesdays throughout the year to gather around the frames for conversation and stitching.   They quilt by hand quilts brought to them by the Bethel congregation and from the public for a nominal charge.  Once a year, they complete a special quilt which is raffled at our Fall Chicken Supper.  The Bethel Quilters use the proceeds from their handiwork for special projects at Bethel, such as Bethel's flag poles, and for outreach (like purchasing turkeys at Thanksgiving for Circle of Concern families).   If you would like to start quilting with them or have a project you would like them to do, please contact the church office.

SPORTS MINDED?

How about a unique sport?   Bethel participates in an inside recreational sport called Dartball.  The sport is simply baseball played with darts which are thrown underhanded.  Bethel has two teams in the Lafayette Ministerial Fellowship Alliance Dartball League.  The League plays on Friday nights during January - mid-March.

UMM!

The United Methodist Men meet monthly over dinner at Bethel.  Most meetings have a guest speaker presenting a topic of interest; every meeting has food that is finger licking good!

GET FIT!

Trying to get in shape?  Bethel Fitness meets on Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m.  It is led by a charismatic (and inspirational) teacher who will give you a great workout.  Come check it out in our Fellowship Hall.

OTHER GROUPS...

We also have Wildwood Historical Society, Boy Scout and Cub Scout meetings held regularly at Bethel.
